![]() The main lodge at Ladore features 67 rooms, each with twin beds, wall-to-wall carpeting, electric heat and full baths. Once inside you will find our reception area, dining room and chapel, which have all been recently renovated! Depending on the time of year you visit, be sure to enjoy our double-faced fireplace in our main lobby - a great place to sip a steaming cup of coffee or hot chocolate while relaxing with your favorite book. Or, the bright sun deck is an excellent location to enjoy nature's brisk fall and fresh spring days. If your needs require larger accommodations, Ladore Village might interest you. Ladore Village is a collection of fully winterized Cabins conveniently nestled together, able to lodge up to 400 guests. The land Ladore is built on was home to Native Americans, including the Mohawk, Cayuga, Seneca, and Onondaga tribes for whom our 4 cabin 'villages' are named. Each cabin shares an activity building located on the shore of Lake Ladore. The facility is equipped with food preparation conveniences, meeting places, and recreational and audio-visual equipment that can be enjoyed in the ambience created by our two massive stone fireplaces. Considering a winter ski retreat or a youth group activity? Give us a try... the experience will last a lifetime!
Smaller groups may consider out Retreat Houses. There are two Retreat Houses each with 12 rooms that can accommodate up to 28 guests. Each room features twin beds, private baths, electric heat and wall-to-to wall carpeting. A central meeting/activity room is provided in each house as well. There are no televisions or phones in the rooms, however, public phones are accessible and provided in each facility. Please don't expect T-1 Internet connections or the latest in hi-tech gadgetry. Rather, your experience at Ladore is centered on a simplistic and fundamental methodology to life - a back to basics approach within the evangelical elements of the universal Christian church cloaked within nature's beauty and serenity.
Your time is yours and yours alone to choose what to do with it. We simply offer you many paths to follow.
